♥ Easy Winter Styles
But anyways, today after coming in from the snow, wind, rain and just the typical British weather outside, I thought I would give you some easy and achievable winter/autumn outfits and accessories for you to try. Enjoy!
I think this has to be a classic winter style. Its simple but effective. Simply take a big knitted jumper and style it with a nice pale colored or denim shirt.
This style is perfect for a nice coffee date with the boyf or even just a shopping day out with the girls. It works for most places because the shirt gives the smart casual look to your outfit.
You can style the jumper with a cute pair of denim shorts, your favorite skinny jeans, or a skater skirt. Then finish it off with a pair of brogues or some Chelsea boots.
2. Roll Neck Tops
This has to be one of my favorite new trends. It keeps you super warm and it also looks great matched with anything! My favorite ones have to be the cropped vest ones. I saw this velvet one on missguided (£6) and am now in the process of ordering it. Things like this look great with a pair of disco pants for parties, or even a pair of jeans for the day.
3. Leggings Leggings Leggings
Through summer, to winter leggings work all year round. They are incredibly comfortable and look hot in pretty much anything! They are a staple product that must be in your wardrobe, so if you don't have at least 1 pair, I strongly advise you to get one, quickly.
I have recently warmed to the dog-tooth trend, and I think they look so classy and mature in legging form. It may be a bit out there for some people but for £10 (boohoo.com) they are something worth trying. Disco pants were seen on our runway in 2012, and I have recently bought a pair, and it definitely lived up to the hype. They work for a simple day look with a simple t-shirt, or for a night out with some platform heels.
4. The Fur Headband
4. The Fur Headband
(£3.50 ASOS)
Now this inst something that I would particularly wear because it wouldn't really suit me. However these look great if you're having a bad hair day, just slot it on and let your hair down. They are also a very bold fashion statement (if you can pull it off) as well as keeping your ears incredibly warm throughout the winter.
5. Cable Knit Cardigans
Every girl should have some sort of cosy knitwear in their wardrobe that they can either just lounge around in on a lazy Sunday, or wear on a day out. Either way these kind of cable knit boyfriend cardigans will be a key addition. Oversised clothing looks super cute on a any girl and it also keeps you so warm throughout the winter and autumn. Simply style it with skinny trousers, and simple tee, and some show boots to survive the autumn winds. This can easily be adapted if the weathers warmer wear some denim shorts, for £20 (boohoo.com) this is perfect.
6. Boots
This winter I have been going MAD for Chelsea boots, they are so classy and so comfortable. I was able to snag this pair (image above) in the TopShop sale for £27, still a but pricey but they were definitely worth it! Another pair of boots everyone's been rocking lately are lace up wedges, I wasn't too keen on this trend at first, but they work with everything, from nights out with a pretty dress to casual days with a pair of skinny's, so if you haven't already, invest in a good strong pair of boots for these last few winter days!
7. fur coats
Well I think the reason I've put this one on the list is self explanatory However it is very hard to find a reasonably priced faux fur coat today, which is why I've picked this one out from the sale (first image) in ASOS for £30.50 which isn't too bad, because it is super cute and has a nice thick layer. But if you're looking for something a little more simple try a fur hooded jacket, they are a lot easier to find, and much cheaper!
